This is an excellent scanner for small spaces, for example kiosks, booths and cramped desks. At just 70mm by 49mm, this scanner is similar in size to a box of matches. The Metrologic IS4220 can be attached to any surface, for example the side of a computer screen or under a counter keeping it out of the way and protected. The scan range from 5-25cm makes for comfortable scanning and with no buttons required to operate it, just point and scan. The chances of damage are reduced because the scanner can be fixed into place, preventing knocks, drops and damage through handling.
