The latest printer from the worlds leading manufacturer of thermal and barcode printers. The S4M builds upon the success, experience and pedigree of Zebra's Z4M. The S4M blends usability, capacity and durability to make it an excellent value for money option. The Zebra S4M is the ideal printer for those wanting a step up from a desktop printer but are looking to avoid the cost of the heavy duty industrial printers. The S4M uses roll labels and thermal printing technology which means these printers are extremely low maintenance. You will experience extremely reliable operation and minimal down time. The printer is also very easy to use with colour coded components that guide the operator through replacing ribbons or labels.
With a durable metal outer this printer is able to withstand inevidable knocks and bumps and its 200mm (8") media roll capacity ensure fewer label changes. With a side loading design the label rolls and ribbons are simple to change, no more hassles threading through labels.
The S4M has a back-lit LCD control panel for configuring the printer if you need to.
The S4M is designed for medium duty printing of shipping, receiving and inventory control labels. We have sold these printers to manufacturers who need a reliable workhorse on their production floor.
The S4M does all that you need from a medium duty industrial printer at an exceptionally good price. Things to think about however, if you need 24 hour mission critical operation where a printer failure means production stoppages, perhaps one of Zebra's ZM400 or XiIII printers would be more suitable.
This printer comes with a full set of Windows printer drivers for easy software integration, however, because everyone has different label design software needs, this printer does not come with label design software. See our label design software selection to choose. For programmers the printer is easy to program, using a text based programming language that's easy to understand and use. This printer uses the EPL language, so you can replace exisiting Zebra EPL printers with a more durable printer without changing software. If you want to replace a printer running Zebra's ZPL printer language buy the S4M ZPL model.
