Metrologic have produced a very competent barcode reader with the Voyager. It has a read range of 20cm which makes it practical to use but an extremely useful added extra is a stand. It can be placed in the stand and work competely hands free making it very useful in a retail setting. Metrologic supports the Voyager with a 5 year warranty. Overall - convenient laser performance, with a handsfree stand.
Metrologic's unique Codegate feature makes scanning menus much easier than with standard barcode readers. Position the laser beam over the menu item you want to scan and press the Voyager's scan button. The Voyager does not scan the codes until the button is pressed.
