This model has a 3.5G WAN radio, WiFi (A,B & G), Bluetooth, GPS, 3.2MP camera, Microsoft Windows Mobile V6.5,  256BM of RAM and 1GB of ROM memory, a QWERTY keyboard and Two batteries.

Motorola really have covered all bases with this Enterprise Digital Assistant.  It's a phone and a data capture device and a gateway back to your data.  Motorola, though, has throught through a lot of the details - for example - one of the problems with technology products is that you buy a phone, PDA or terminal for your department and find that it's been superceded after a year.  Finding new units to equip new staff or replace damaged ones becomes impossible - but Motorola have promised three year availability on the ES400.

Another concept Motorola is pushing is the ability to complete the task with the ES400.  Some terminals allow you to capture data - but the ES400 enables you to finish the job.  So in the past you might photograph a damaged asset and complete the admin back in the office.  With the ES400 you can take the photograph, transmit it to the corporate database then order replacement parts and go on to email the client with when you'll be back to complete the repair.  All that is achieved because the ES400 is easy to use and connects back through a range of different networks.
