If you want a simple way to manage your assets - our tracking solution is just what you need.  Designed around the low cost and reliable Metrologic OptimusS handheld terminal, this package can be upgraded to use the more industrial Metrologic OptimusR.  Both terminals have built-in barcode scanners and comes with enough memory to store tens of thousands of records. Barcode Tracker uses Microsoft Access (please note you will need to purchase Access).  It is simple to set up and easy to use.  The Optimus collects the data and formats it before downloading it - Access checks the data and inputs the data into your computer.  Use Microsoft Access to report on your data using Access' customisable reports.

Asset tracking

Barcode Tracker is designed for the organisation with around 1000 assets.  For larger organisations, or where you want a solution to add, dispose, lend out and edit asset data on the handheld or desktop with a large number of pre-designed reports, our more powerful MobileAsset product is better suited. 

	The scanner prompts you to scan the location (i.e. room code) then the asset codes.  Scanning a room's worth of assets can be done in minutes.
	Once you have scanned your assets, place the terminal in it's cradle.  Press F2 on your Optimus and the data is automatically downloaded to the PC.
	Once the data is downloaded, use Access to import the data into the database. Ask us about personalised plastic barcoded labels to put on your assets.
