Lightweight but powerful, the Metrologic Optimus PDA is a full spec Windows CE5 handheld computer.  This model is the basic model with an easy to use laser barcode scanner and long battery life (up to 72 hours - depending on application).  This model downloads it's data through the cradle and USB cable included in the package.

The Optimus PDA has been built to survive in an industrial setting with rubber bumpers and recessed screen.  It has an IP54 protection rating protecting it from water and dust and a 1.5m drop to concrete specification.

An excellent introduction to handheld barcode scanning computers and terminals.
