The Metrologic OptimusR is a tough yet lightweight hand held terminal that is designed to last in an industrial or outdoor setting. With an IP rating of 65, the OptimusR is well protected against dust and blasts of water.  The easy to use program design software enables you to be up and running in no time. The OptimusR enables users to simply scan and store their product information. After data collection is done, simply drop the unit into its cradle and send the data back to Microsoft Excel (or other software) to keep your information up to date and accurate. If you want to verify barcodes - use Microsoft Excel to create a list of products, download the lookup file and set the Optimus up to display the product descriptions as they are scanned.

Each OptimusR comes with the Optimizer software package. This graphically-oriented program allows even computer beginners to quickly and easily set up their unit. As well as great software the OptimusR comes with a long list of other features. 2MB of RAM (storage for 2 million characters) to accommodate a large inventory. With convenient Lithium Ion rechargable batteries, you no longer have to worry about batteries running out at critical times. With a battery life of approximately 200 hours it will complete even the most demanding shift before needing to be recharged.
