The Motorola - Symbol LS3408ER laser barcode scanner is possibly the best scanner for a warehouse or other industrial or outdoor setting. The LS3408 comes with a stylish, yet tough, metal hook so you can hang it from a pulley if you want to keep your work area tidy (call us regarding a pulley).  Designed and built with a recessed scan window, made from scratch resistant glass, this scanner will withstand the inevitable knocks and drops - giving reliable operation for years - less durable scanners will need to be replaced. The LS3408 has been tested on the IP scale  gaining an IP65 rating - rated for water & dust protection - perfect for outdoor operations. 

This model scans from 100mm to 15 metres - outstanding performance - but very well suited to situations were you need to scan from ground level up to high level pallet racking.  The LS3408ER comes with a laser dot aimer, part press the trigger and point the lazer dot - that's where the scanner will start reading.  

Large, bright good read indicators show the user that they've scanned the code or not - even when they're not looking directly at it.  Combined with the extra loud (80 decibel) beeper, there is plenty of warning to users if they can't read a code. 

With a working range from minus 30 to plus 50 Deg C this scanner is perfect for operations outdoors and in coldstores.
