Thermal Receipt Printer
Thermal Label Printer
If you're printing receipts in your library or school shop then the TM-T81 is the best choice.  Most modern receipt printers use thermal technology to print - i.e. they use heat to create the image on paper.  This makes them fast, reliable and simple to use.  The TM-T81 is made by Epson, who dominate receipt printing.  By reliable, I mean it's been tested and found to break down on average every 52 million lines.  The cutter lasts on average 1.5 million cuts.  That's why the TMT-81 has a three year warranty.  It's got an easy open lid so you can change printer ribbons easily and because Epson are the leading maker of thermal receipt printers, everyone who makes point of sale software has ensured compatibility. Zebra is the most popular thermal label printer in the world.  Thermal printers use heat to generate the image on the paper.  Thermal printers are fast and reliable.  The GK420 is perfect for barcode labels but equally well suited to other types of labels.  Most thermal printers print from rolls of labels or tags, so the labels are lower cost than sheets and print much more reliably.  This particular model, the GK420T prints up to 104mm wide, so it's able to print most labels two across.  It comes with an easy open case so you can change labels more easily.

This printer is able to print long life labels - such as durable plastic book labels, product labels for items that are stored in hot or sunny conditions or ID labels.
If you'd like to test one of these printers at your library or school please email us here. If you would like more information, a price or to buy, please click here.
